Inspired by Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, Big Shoulders Fund was founded to provide support to Catholic schools with demonstrated need in Chicago. For more than thirty-five years, Big Shoulders Fund has helped Chicago’s children in need achieve their dreams through access to a quality, values-based education.Founded in 2007, the Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board is comprised of a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting the mission of Big Shoulders Fund through volunteering, outreach, and fundraising. They raise funds for the Auxiliary Board Scholarship which supports six schools and nearly 100 scholars annually across the City of Chicago.

Legal Aid Chicago’s Ambassadors Board represents a dynamic group of professionals who are passionate about equal justice for all. It offers opportunities for pro bono volunteer service, continuing education, networking, community outreach, and advocacy on behalf of low-income people in Cook County who may lack access to an attorney for their civil legal needs.The Ambassadors Board supports the mission and programmatic work of Legal Aid Chicago by helping to raise awareness for civil legal services and help obtain the resources needed to make equal justice a reality for the most vulnerable people in our community.

• Conducted quantitative financial analysis by identifying and analyzing data and utilizing statistical and quantitative modeling to test case theories and quantify economic benefit, harm, damages, and value.• Routinely executed market efficiency analyses in estimation of damages cases.• Regularly provided economic and statistical analyses as well as event studies and regression analyses in support of various M&A, Antitrust, and Class Action cases and expert reports.• Conducted qualitative research to identify, interpret, and present relevant information to case members and senior managers for use in the preparation of expert reports.• Assisted in developing case strategy and preparing experts for testimony.• Collaborated with counsel and clients on data requests; led weekly meetings with senior managers and economists to assess project direction and progress.• Assisted senior managers, experts, and counsel in drafting expert reports and completing client requests; created exhibits and backup for use in trial testimony by economic experts.• Audited expert’s economic analysis and data manipulation decisions to ensure correct interpretation of underlying data.
