Overseeing the design and set up of the Institute’s ground segment (Mission Operation Centre and Ground Station). Developing the operations support and leading the operation of the facilities for Auckland Space Institute missions. Building the capability of the centre to support larger satellites and developing the business to support national and international missions.

As Chief Engineer I was responsible for Overseeing and Assuring the Technical Integrity, coherency and consistency of solutions developed and delivered by the Engineering Division. As Head of Space Systems I was responsible for the system engineering department who provide the technical leadership to all SSTL missions, as well as the system product definition and direction. The Assembly Integration and Test departments are responsible for spacecraft integration and environmental test, while the Spacecraft Operations team is responsible for all phases of operations development and execution.

Overseeing and Assuring the Technical Integrity, coherency and consistency of solutions developed and delivered by the Engineering Division. Responsible for the Product Assurance and Quality Management Systems.
