Exited the existing supply chain, procured new supply chain partners driving significant multi-million pound savings. - Cadent Gas Construction management Organisation pilot - Programme Director (via Arcadis). • United Utilities
    Director Of Strategic Programmes
    United Utilities Jan 2017 - May 2019
    Warrington, United Kingdom
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer I was initially accountable for the Wholesale input into the Price Review. The Price Review process sets the agreed customer revenue that water companies can recover over a five year period. The review concludes in the year prior to the new period, therefore Price Review 2019 (PR19) covers 2020 to 2025. Each company submits detailed plans, data tables, supporting evidence, customer research and third party assurance backed by Board support to Ofwat. United Utilities revenues in PR14 were over £6 billion and are expected to be over £5 billion in PR19. At March 2018 I took over full accountability for the management of the PR19 programme including central activities through to submission in September 2018. Through streamlining and refocusing the team, undertaking a significant re-plan and ensuring we had key stakeholder backing the plan was subsequently submitted to a very high standard. The programme was delivered well under budget and submitted before the Ofwat deadline. The initial outcome of the submission will be known on the 31st January 2019 and stakeholder feedback has been very positive. I have recently also provided support and input into the Manchester and Pennine Resilience project acting as Interim Programme Director.
