I am the Founder and CEO of Bascule Disability Training and Bascule Entertainment, two organisations created to promote inclusivity in the business and entertainment sectors respectively. Born with cerebral palsy, I have been a wheelchair user for over 25 years. With a passion for creating positive change, my career has been built around developing inclusivity and accessibility for people with disabilities. Bascule Disability Training Bascule Disability Training is a UK based social enterprise that empowers workforces with a firmer understanding of all areas of disability through bespoke training modules. BDT helps businesses reap the rewards of inclusivity, whilst creating truly inclusive environments and empathetic workforces, providing access to new talented employees and a wider customer base. As a prominent voice on disability inclusion in the UK, I am an accomplished speaker, author, training facilitator and consultant for developing disability awareness. Bascule Entertainment Bascule Entertainment is a film production company based in Los Angeles that works to support, showcase and celebrate the talents of people with disabilities, both on screen and behind the scenes.As well as creating content, Bascule Entertainment provides a consultancy service that enables film makers to produce authentic and nuanced depictions of disability, whilst delivering strategies to improve accessibility.Through inclusive film making processes, Bascule Entertainment bridges the gap in representation, showcasing diverse narratives and highlighting the talents of those working in front of and behind the camera. Philanthropic work and other endeavours I am also a keen philanthropist and advocate of the charity sector, serving currently as trustee for Reaching Families, CP Sport and a private foundation. Finally, I am a Director of Great Ballard School, an independent school in West Sussex.
