I have over 28 years worldwide marine experience serving onboard a wide range of oil & gas tanker vessels and seismic survey research ships. My cadetship was performed with Shell international where I obtained Chief Officer qualification. Further experience onboard coastal tankers including 4 years command experience as Master with Nordic Tankers was gained. I have also served in the offshore sector with WesternGeco and now Shearwater, performing survey contracts for oil majors and multi-client projects.I presently hold a UK Unlimited Master Mariner licence and am also fully qualified as a Fast Rescue Boat Coxswain. Other roles previously performed onboard include Helicopter Landing Officer, Safety Officer, Ship Security Officer, Lifting Equipment Inspector and Lifting Champion.I would describe myself as hard working, safety conscious yet approachable to all crew onboard. HSE is an important part of daily life offshore and I am trained through Schlumberger systems to recognise, prevent and mitigate risks to the crew, vessel and the environment.I relish new challenges and working alongside multi-national crew. I always aim to bring a positive attitude to the workplace and enjoy helping others to achieve their goals.
