Current job description:As Group FMI am responsible to manage and co-ordinate the Clover Group month-end income statement and balance sheet reporting and preparing the necessary variance analysis in report format to EXCO and shareholders. I am managing and co-ordinating the Clover Group annual budget process. In addition, I am tasked with the management and co-ordination of the Clover Group Treasury function. GENERAL ð Co-ordinating the Clover Group Capex process, approving Capex applications, reviewing feasibility studies of large Capex projects and preparation of the annual Capex budget.ð Managing and co-ordinating the Clover Group annual budget processð Managing and co-ordinating the Clover Group month-end reportingð Responsible for quarterly, semi-annual and year-end reporting to various stakeholders.ð Providing assistance to the Clover group on technical accounting (IFRS) challenges.ð Day to day treasury management of available cash resources and applying the Clover group hedging policies.ð Build and maintain healthy relationships with external funders and suppliers.ð Preparation of the the Group 5-year business plan and forecasts. SPECIFIC ð Assist the various business units in monitoring Capex spent against budget, reviewing of business cases for large capital projects and approving Capex applications.ð Provide guidance to the various business units on applying the Clover Capex policies.ð Preparing a monthly summary of group volumes sold to use in month-end reporting making use of Cognos system.ð Co-ordination and review of reports to EXCO and other stakeholders on month-end results.ð Attendance at Supply Chain demand planning meetings where volume forecasts are discussed between Supply Chain department, Marketing department and Commercial departments from where agreed volumes are used in preparing sales forecasts and production planning.ð Liaising with various business units on a regular basis to obtain their inputs into the expected variances to budget which to include in the forecast/estimate process.ð Oversight of the Clover Group activity-based costing model.ð Oversight of profitability studies on a product and customer level. Making recommendations to improve profitability on a product and customer level.ð Monthly profitability analysis.ð Continuously evaluate the optimal structure for the Clover Group and ensure funding strategy is aligned to improve working capital through collaboration with other business units in the Clover Group.ð Preparation of board reports to audit committees and board of directors.
