I am a household name known for life-saving severe weather coverage. I am a seasoned leader and team manager delivering dominate winning results.During high-pressure situations, I am used to making split-second decisions, all while delivering a calm and clear message to my 1.2 million TV audience during severe weather. An expert at knowing my audience, I am skilled at saying a lot with a short amount of time. I have a significant following online and my audience grows to more than 6 million viewers during major weather events. My communication skills have been recognized with local and state accolades. In 2020 I was given "The Key to the City" in Seneca after my early warning of tornadoes was credited with saving lives. I was named South Carolina Weathercaster of the Year and North Carolina Weathercaster of the Year in 2021 and 2023 and have been nominated for three Emmys for my coverage of severe weather. I have also been voted Upstate South Carolina's "Best Weathercaster" for 10 years running. As the leader of South Carolina’s top weather team, I come up with strategic TV coverage plans with an ultimate goal to save lives. With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Meteorology I have a sound science background in addition to my proven track record of reaching my audience wherever they are, no matter the time of day or situation.When I'm not tracking severe weather I can usually be found alongside my wife cheering our three kids on at their various sports activities.
