"Through my own rich journey of awakening I have arrived at my life's purpose. I would like my life to be an expression of love and compassion. I choose to serve the world in this capacity". My journey home was through the archetypical Dark Night of the Soul.  For the better part of 45 years, I was totally fulfilled and loving life.  I had everything I had ever dreamed of and more.  A beautiful family with incredible children, an amazing job working with the brightest people and more money than I had any use for. But it was a life based on achieving and doing, with success measured by the number of widgets produced and mountains climbed.  Then I had a subtle trigger event occur in my life. Nothing that doesn’t happen to a million people a day.  But I simply had a collapse of all perceived meaning in life. An eruption in my life of a deep sense of meaninglessness that would conventionally be labeled depression, but it was so much beyond this. Nothing made sense anymore, there suddenly seemed to be no purpose to anything despite having everything. I had built up a life, and given it meaning – and the meaning that I had given it, my activities, my achievements, where I was going, and what I considered important just suddenly collapsed.​I fell into a deep depression, PTSD, addiction, psychosis, and insanity.  Within 12 months of this process starting, I had to leave my job, was estranged from my family, lost all my friends and, as I fell further and further down the rabbit hole, I lost my grip on all reality.  However, when I landed at the bottom of that hole, the final dark night came and something within me awakened.  I awakened to my authentic Self that had a deeply engrained life purpose that was completely at odds with the one I was living.  Since my ego death that day, I have had a new sense of aliveness, curiosity and absolute love and gratitude for life that I did not think was possible.  Through the resurrection of my Self, I have tapped into a virtually unlimited source of energy and a yearning to live life to the fullest.  But not from a place of Doing but a place of Being.  My life’s purpose is to continue to connect deeply to this vibration of love and be a guide to others that find themselves on this path.  I yearn for a community of fellow travellers on this journey where we can take turns showing each other The Way.   This is what we are hoping to build
