• Reports to the Nobia UK CFO and responsible for UK FP&A and finance shared services (Purchase Ledger / Credit Control / Management Accounts / Payroll / Fleet) in a c.£500m turnover business leading a team of 53 (5 direct reports)• Led centralisation, transformation and integration of financial processes and control having restructured the finance function realising a c.£1m saving in the finance team (c.£5m central functions and sales support savings in total)• Developed a high performing UK FP&A function providing insightful overview and analysis to Nobia UK leadership assessing performance and enabling sound commercial decision making• Led the development of a new cashflow forecasting model to support the business through challenging times. The work stood up to McKinsey scrutiny on behalf of the Board• Led the development and presentation of a transformational 4 year plan to take to the Board supporting Nobia UK ambitious growth plans achieving Board approval for significant capex and opex investment driving growth of 50% over 4 years.

Magnet is the largest business unit in the Nobia group with c.£300m turnover. • Supported 5 Regional Directors and partnered with key stakeholders across the business (including Commercial Director, Contracts Director, Supply Chain FD, Marketing Director, Head of Business Control & Projects)• Built, developed and led a high performing commercial finance team providing insightful and timely analysis to aid sound decision making relating to for example store locations / refurbishments / productivity / cost savings / growth opportunities etc • Successfully integrated a Customer Accounts Team function • Led growth modelling projects to ensure the continued success of the Magnet business and analysed performance against models.
