Responsible for successful definition, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of complex programs in accordance to the Medicine Institute’s missions and goals requiring cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies between a group of projects, related objects, and activities within the scope, quality, time, and budget metrics including multiple moderate-probability, moderate risk factors.Work with executive management to assemble project teams and work groups to produce deliverables required to achieve the objectives of a defined institute program. Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for defined institute programs.Organize, direct and coordinate cross-functional activities to focus institute resources on the successful delivery and implementation of the desired results for defined institute programs and strategic initiatives.Assess risks that might jeopardize successful achievement of the desired results of a program, develop risk mitigation strategies and tactics, and implement risk mitigation plans.Monitor and evaluate the financial “health” of the institute and work with service line directors and the institute VP to identify variances while providing corrective action suggestions through monthly monitoring and reporting processes.Interim responsibilities included oversight of Medicine Institute with seventeen service lines, over 190 physicians, and more than a $110M budget. Primary interim tasks included supporting service line directors, initiating and completing the physician contracting process from business plan to executed agreement stage, communicating with ten service line division chiefs to ensure financial and business needs are met, providing authoritative signature on physician, locum, and staff one-time payments, budget preparation and finalization for the physician organization and the Medicine Institute portion of the hospital business, and leading the internal contracting audit to ensure contract compliance.

-Acts as a consultant to service line leadership by analyzing financial results, trends, and performance metrics-Prepares business plans including periodic plan tracking-Evaluates physician compensation and incentives to ensure accuracy of contractual payments-Acts as a mentor to peers within department and communicates effectively with management, steering committees, project sponsors, and technical experts-Handles multiple loosely-defined projects simultaneously from problem statement stage to resolution-Reviews due diligence and creates business plans for potential practice acquisitions, physician recruiting, and new programs-Analyzes results and provides insight and recommendations to operational and financial leadership

-Providing professional and quality financial analyses on healthcare to find savings, opportunities, and growth along with identifying opportunities for physician and hospital growth. -Designing, preparing, and presenting spreadsheets, presentations, and full business cases using budget and market analytics from various departments to support senior leadership initiatives and ideas. -Produced documentation to validate business cases include cash flow statements, financial return information, market assessment analysis, and generated reports from internally processed data.
