Chris is the COO of Valere Health, responsible for business workflow strategy and implementation of the company’s transformative post-acute technology and analytics solutions for its industry partners. Chris has dedicated his career to the development and deployment of solutions driving more efficient, reliable delivery of patients’ post-acute healthcare products and services, improving patient care, and promoting positive health outcomes in the home. Chris has a passion for people and is driven by the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of value-based health care solutions across the care continuum.Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the HME industry, including HME product ordering and delivery, patient education, medical documentation qualification, third party claims billing, accounts receivable, physician engagement, business management, and technology development. Chris has served as operations manager for two independent HME retail pharmacies, and he was a market analyst for QS/1 for 8 years, the industry’s leading provider of pharmacy management software. While with QS/1, Chris worked closely with providers, customers, software users, and business partners to guide the future development of software platforms in three healthcare markets. Through ongoing business assessments and accreditation preparation, Chris has repeatedly developed and implemented more efficient models and workflow processes, driving maximum productivity and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Valere, Chris was a founder and VP of Corporate Systems Development for LifeH2H Solutions, a hospital to home technology solutions and patient care services company. Chris led the development of LifeH2H’s SaaS platform for compliant HME order processing, and formed a care services company, LifeTouch, to deliver patient care coordination and provider care for patients living with chronic conditions. While now focused on the entire post-acute care spectrum of patient needs, Chris remains active in the HME industry as an advocate and educator and serves on the Medtrade Education Advisory Board. Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in business management from North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina. He is active in his church, enjoys cooking BBQ, and is a proud husband and father of a house full of girls.
