As a lifeguard for OSU Rec Sports I prospered independently with little supervision while providing constant surveillance of the aquatics area, which contained over 25 patrons at times. Often, I provided first aid or rescues to patrons and document all incident reports neatly, accurately, and promptly. I also ensured pool safety by entering and tracking pool chemical data hourly checking for alarming trends.

Elected by my peers, I was responsible for managing a diverse chapter of over 80 undergraduate members while being the primary contact for external parties such as the University, Delta Upsilon Headquarters, as well as local and remote fraternity advisers which enforced excellent written and oral communication skills. I coordinated an executive team of 10 members to accomplish quarterly and annual goals along with making decisions for allocating a budget of over $300,000 dollars. We were able to cut debt by over $30,000 during my term through financial analysis. We also raised over $10,000 for our philanthropy partner, Global Service Initiative. Throughout this time, I was even handpicked for regional and national conferences where I had the opportunity to perfect different leadership, conflict management, and problem solving skills.
