Chesher is a national wholesale distributor of commercial foodservice equipment, parts and service. We have grown over 400% in 4 years by providing our clients with a chef centric consultative sales process to solve our clients' challenges.

• P & L responsibility for North American business. Managed Production, Quality, Operations, Finance and Administration, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service processes.• Lead team of 6 in 2007 to 96 in 2012 and an additional 6 commissioned sales representative agencies. I also had personal responsibility for all KIS retail and contract sales development. Developed leadership team of 9 direct reports as the business transitioned from a small upstart to a mid-sized professional company. • Lead the creation of a Mission and Values statement and communicated throughout the organization verbally, in print and through town hall quarterly meetings. • Initiated the development of all processes in Sales, Marketing, New Product Development, Manufacturing, Finance, Forecasting, Production Planning, and Cash Collections. • Implemented SAP and DS. • Established KPI metrics for key activities to highlight issues, opportunities and successes. • Business grew from $1M in first half of 2007 to over $30M in FY 2011 and developed over $12M in new business in 2012 with Wal-Mart and Target.• Spearheaded 23 acre, over $20M investments into a green-field development resulting in 186k square foot manufacturing facility with rail, in Milton ON. Coordinated move from the former Brampton facility. • Along with the VP Finance, I secured $10M AMIS, Interest free loan with 5 year funding with the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to facilitate capital investment requirements.

• Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility with 8 direct reports in the following processes: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Service, Operations, and Finance. • Trippled Sales in less than 3 years and through increased market share and market development / sales activity. • Developed service strategy and reorganized team to move from a reactive “fire fighting” organization to proactive one. • Reversed multi year losses into a profitable country level business with multi-million dollar group level impact. • Lead team of 60 associates and 21 commissioned sales representative companies in 2007. • Rational USA won Subsidiary of the year in 2006• Concurrently managed Canadian business 1 day per week and maintained growth and team development.

Managed sales, marketing, customer service and dotted line responsibility for technical service support.• Doubled the sales volume and significantly enhanced profit. • Manage sister company (supplier) relations and negotiations for favourable buy pricing to ensure acceptable margin and market pricing in Canada. • Lead team of 46 sales, marketing and operations professionals within the team.
