The systems I oversaw supported $900M in annual revenue, and I led a team of 70 IT professionals.I was a member of the CIO's executive leadership team, where I helped drive our overall IT strategy, practices, and working principles.One of my proudest moments here was helping this business scale. They needed their technology to evolve as they did, and it had to be done in a very timely manner. I delivered a multi-year implementation plan to accomplish just that.Achievements here included more growth, efficiencies, a focus on ROI, and several acquisition integrations:I championed two acquisition integrations, allowing Gartner to realize its anticipated ROI. These were full integrations within 90 days.I also spearheaded innovation with collaborative and social technologies into the company's portfolio. Some of these ideas were unheard of at the time, like having multiple people simultaneously working online on the same document. I made sure Gartner was at the forefront of such new ideas so we stayed ahead of the market.I executed critical change programs, a core part of the business and highly technical and data-centric. There were lots of nuances, unsustainable processes, and siloed work. I overhauled everything to improve our efficiency and take a more creative and innovative approach. The result?
