- Coordinate the successful delivery of Structural, Mechanical & Piping fabrication packages within the required budget, quality, schedule and HSE requirements.- Develop detailed subcontract documentation including fabrication scopes of work clearly identifying the required specifications and standards for fabrication, welding, surface treatment and delivery.- Support project teams identifying suitable sub-contractors, preparation of tender documents, tender reviews, subcontract documentation, recommendations for award and attend clarification meetings.- Provide engineering/technical advice to fabrication sub-contractors and other project staff involved in the execution of works.- Answer queries from sub-contractor representatives regarding both general and technical/engineering issues.- Development of work packs.- Under limited supervision, independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work, which is normally subject to internal checking and approval. - Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.- Represent the Company in meetings / correspondence with subcontractors in a commercial and technical capacity.- Coordination within the project team to ensure company supplied items are identified and procured to meet the overall project schedule.- Act as the single point of contact and interface for sub contract coordination a n d m a n a g e m e n t . - Expedite all sub-contractor documentation, ensuring timely submission and approval, check physical progress of work packages is in accordance with schedule requirements.- Monitor sub-contractor budgets and advise project management of any changes or impacts affecting the forecast.- Review drawings and confirm procurement requirements. Prepare status reports.

· Responsible for safe conduct of all work undertaken by the workforce under their control and for fully understanding safety requirements and standards.· Ensure the personnel carrying out the work understand the work requirements and that work instructions, safety instructions, and / or quality documentation are supplied, understood, and complied with by the work group.· Responsible for the organisation and management of labour with their direct work group.· The position supervises work teams to ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.
