Responsible for moving manufacturing operations from the US & Mexico to Far East Asia. Extensive work in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, China and India. Created a digital work flow for moving packaging artwork from the US to south east asia and direct to plate technology. In the Bio Technology industry I have written the standard for how the distribution process can be Validated with the authoring of the PDA Technical Report # 39. Created the basis for validating a process that was deemed not validateable by the industry. Responsible for the Validation and Qualification activities of all Packaging Components, Processes and System at Amgen.Specialties: International manufacturing in Far East Asia. Six Sigma Black Belt certified packaging/process engineer with Mechanical engineering background, computer science background and capable of seeing the "big picture".After spending my early days writing software programs in fortran & pascal I learned how to think outside of the box to solve complex manufacturing problems. I've written custom relational databases for each employer to solve and track manufacturing parts.While at Amgen I was able to help the Senior Leadership team reflect upon itself and map out the drug developmental process that aligned the company with the FDA's expectations. I was able to careful identify when processes must conform to the FDA's requirement for when the developmental process crosses the line from development to the finite world of cGMP compliance. Amgen had never mapped out it's entire developmental process to answer that fundemental question.
