I left KPMG in late 2016 after 15 years as a Partner. I have significant experience in advising through periods of re-organisation or distress and supporting implementation in an advisory or executory capacity across sectors. I worked with Capita in 2017 to develop FS ABS opportunities and have joined Grant Thornton to support and expand the development of their significant work in the FS Restructuring market.I worked with a number of FTSE 100 or 250 companies, global corporates or mid-tier private companies through periods of transformational change and am therefore familiar with the rigour and standards required by these organisations. This work has included a number of high profile, complex and challenging roles across multiple sectors including Financial Services, Retail, Property, Telecoms, Aviation, and Healthcare. Selected profile cases: - Cattles Plc - Lead Financial Advisor for the successful 2011 £3 billion restructuring and as Scheme Supervisor- Wonga - Joint Administrator of UK's largest HCST lender - IBRC Ltd - as UK representative to the Special Liquidators to run and monitor the UK bank branches and work staff and advisors to continue trading and to sell the £7 billion UK loan portfolio. - Peacocks Plc - in an executory role to run initially the store portfolio and circa 6,000 staff members before selling the Bonmarche business to PE and Peacocks business to trade buyers. - Monarch Airlines - contingency planning/ financial restructuring- HMV - Lead financial Advisor in first restructuringThis wealth of experience means that I am a commercial and astute negotiator, capable of complex and challenging roles, able to communicate well with differing stakeholder agendas.I supported Capita Asset Services with their Backup Servicer offering across ABS asset classes - this is particularly relevant due to the expansion of this market and the in-herent risk of certain asset classes, start-up lenders or complexity of these financings.
