Night shift Security Corporal/Assistant Supervisor. This position, being in a hospital system, required a large amount of customer service skill and ability to deal with difficult people in a calm and clear manner. In addition to regular security duties, I was often the supervisor on duty for the shift. -Trained and evaluated all new hires for my shift, ensuring a continued success for the department-Evaluated the scheduling procedure and made it more efficient and flexible-Increased departmental morale by creating and running an employee of the month program-Nurtured a stronger relationship between the security team and other departments in the hospital, such as Emergency and Maintenance, through running interdepartmental group discussions.
