About Chris Leblanc

I'm a passionate developer with expertise in designing and developing Web Services with microservice architecture. I'm currently growing my expertise in Cloud Native architecture and have experience with migrating older projects to newer platforms including Kubernetes/Openshift. I'm primarily a Java developer with Spring Boot expertise and prefer working on backend APIs.One of my main pursuits are personal projects such as building chatbots that integrate with platforms such as Twitch and Discord. I use these personal projects as a way to learn new frameworks and tooling. Currently, my personal projects are focused around React JS front-end with Spring Boot REST APIs as the backend. The infrastructure is focused around horizontal and vertical scalability and Cloud Native architecture including tools such as Docker, Keycloak, Kafka, Redis, GitHub Actions, and Argo.My curiosity drives me in life to learn as much as I can while helping others learn along the way. Besides my development career, you might catch me streaming/speedrunning video games on Twitch or having a nice relaxing day at the beach.
