Took charge of an international and multicultural team of mechanical and electrical technicians, sub contracted to work for Lurssen.Regularly stood in for the Base manager, assuming all roles and responsibilities associated within the position. Including attending weekly web meetings between all regional managers and the Border Guard high command in Riyadh. Giving technical analysis on outstanding defects and timescales of completion.Planned and executed maintenance tasks up to and often beyond 6 months in advance, by arranging the relevant stores and spares required through our stores warehouse and outside agencies. Wrote and vetted documentation which ranged from defect reports to service bulletins that benefited Lurssen O&S team.

Section Head (Manager) for Ships Hull and structure.

Formed part of a team in charge of training and running the Royal Navy 'Pre-entry' course.

Worked closely with the commissioning team during the build process. Working to tight schedules and budget constraints. Whilst formulating the ships initial documentation for various systems and machinery, including verifying the emergency action plans. Worked as the High Voltage and controls deputy section head (Line manager) and as the ships galley/hotel services maintainer.
