I am accountable the Commerical Management in the ANZ region which includes managing the Commercial Executive Team in Australia and New Zealand. The team is assigned to Public Sector Customers, including the Government, Public and Private Healthcare, Energy and Water Utilities. The Commercial Executive (CE) team is responsible for negotiating our complex Enterprise Agreements in this segment, with an additional part of the team focussing on the Cloud Solution Provider and ISV Hosting Go To Market Volume Licensing Deals.

I manage the Commercial Team of 13 people of which 11 full time employees in 3 business segments: Public Sector, Small Medium and Corporate (Digital Sales) as well as ISV and Hosting. The team is located throughout Australia and are Commercial Executives who negotiate Microsoft's Volume Licensing Agreements with various Customers.

I am the Licensing Lead for SMS&P in Microsoft Australia managing both the Licensing Sales Specialists and the Licensing Support Associates nationwide. This role managed 6 Full Time Employees and 5 Contractors.

Moved from the UK to Sydney. Am now supporting Public Sector in the SMS&P space nationwide in Australia. Life here so far is great, getting used to the slightly different living and working styles, and looking forward to working at Microsoft Australia for the foreseeable future.

Became a Licensing Sales Specialist initially in EPG Public Sector, responsible for all EPG PS licensing in the UK. During that time I was involved with some of the largest Licensing deals globally, the largest deal I closed was worth $250M. I also worked on deals in EPG Retail and Financial Services to broaden my horizons and experience. Then in 2010 I moved to SMS&P as Team Lead for the 6 LSS' in SMS&P and myself as Individual Contributor on the Corporate Accounts side. As part of my personal life plan I had decided in 2005 to move my family to Australia, which I managed to fulfil in 2011 as part of that 6 year plan.

Initially responsible for negotiating all top Multi-national / Global Premier Support and cross border Microsoft Consultancy Services to focussing on large Government Consultancy Service contracts in the UK, including customers like the NHS and Central Government.

Various roles in Commercial Management, logistics and Purchasing, including a year assignemnt in Nuremberg, Germany as Purchasing Manager for Germany.
