Developed in-depth understanding of the Greater London regional planning agenda and the Mayor’s Transport Strategy through representing the organisation on a wide range of applications as TfL’s planning case officer. Reviewed London borough planning policies against the London Plan, drafting formal responses to clarify opportunities and mitigations associated with facilitating sustainable modal shift and positive public realm that improve general public health.

This summer internship experience enhanced my communication and interpersonal skills as I worked with and learnt from different specialised professionals in the built environment including architects and landscape architects. Involved in fascinating projects such as an interior refurbishment plan for a listed building and took part in the decoration design works for a seaside villa. I also took on a task to redesign the office space for a local BMW dealership.
