Uniformed support position for the Police Department, high volume customer service and successful client conflict resolution. Data Entry, inventory control and resources management. I was selected as the first CSO assigned to the Front Counter of the Police Dept. Managed on average 60-80 citizen contacts per day while accomplishing data entry tasks and directing resources, supervised assigned Volunteers, conducted inter-agency cooperation with other Law Enforcement agencies/personnel, Fire Dept, legal representatives. Five years later I was again selected as the first CSO assigned to the new Field Services (Patrol) program to handle victim crime reports and misc services. I was required to submit Daily Evaluation Reports of the program to the Field Service Bureau Captain with recommendations for improvements. Handled citizen complaints, requests, collected fees, managed Media inquiries. Conducted Training for new hire Community Services Officers in all aspects of Dept. operations including Jail Facility. Conducted Training for Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS). Developed and executed Lesson Plan as Dept. Instructor in Prop 69 DNA Collection Law (2009). Jail Facility: process high volume workload with information research, daily records (digital/paper) keeping, the use of multiple organizational software and Microsoft software products. Intense workload with persons and legal documents critical to accomplishment of Dept. goals. Track and maintain critical inventory items with high degree of attention to detail.
