I acted as the technical lead resource on various small and large projects, including one of the company’s largest implementation to date (by licenses) at a nationwide Brazilian telecommunications firm. I was responsible for the technical design, development, and deployment of these integrated scheduling and mobility solutions. As solution architect, I was initially positioned as a dedicated resource for emerging markets in Latin America, and have traveled throughout South America to lead implementations or provide consultancy to system integrator partners in the region. Later, I transitioned to lead a large Oil and Gas field services scheduling and mobility implementation in the Middle East.

Advancing in my career in Professional Services, I partnered with an organization that was recognized as the industry leader in automated mobile workforce management and service optimization solutions available on the cloud or on-premise. In this role, I consulted clients on both small and large (>$3M ) projects with fine-tuning application functionality and service optimization to meet customer’s service business objectives. The solutions we delivered were the result from months of working together with the business analysts and solution architects to translate the customer’s requirements into a functioning service optimization suite of software that helped the client meet their service level goals.

As part of the Professional Services team, I was tasked with consulting cross-industry clients for purposes of providing technical solutions for business processes. These solutions improved serv¬ice levels and helped cut costs. Not only was I involved with gathering requirements and solution proposals, but I regularly aided in the development and implementation of the solutions on-site. Finally, our team trained and supported the client after implementation and go-live. Most implementations involved solutions for electronic medical record management, storage, workflow, security, data proc¬essing, and reporting. Custom .NET web applications and SQL reporting servers were used to provide a front-end to these systems.

For my Major Qualifying Project at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), I was selected to work on a project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Lincoln Laboratory. Here I worked in a group to help develop an adaptive beamforming RADAR system using FPGA’s and fast prototyping with Xilinx intellectual property cores. Our task was to create a test bench for many of the hardware/software components that would be uploaded to the FPGA for the beamformer. This was only achieved by setting up other hardware to capture data in real-time at very high clock frequencies. This project included simulation and design in MATLAB, VHDL, and Modelsim as well as testing on Xilinx Virtex2 6000 FPGA’s.
