  Security Management & Governance, CTO Branch, SCMORA provides security oversight in SSC’s change management processes to ensure that changes (impacting/OR/to) SSC managed IT infrastructure are implemented in accordance with Government of Canada security policies, SSC security standards and best practice.Responsibilities:Identify the security implications resulting from changes to SSC’s legacy and end-state enterprise data centres, infrastructure and information systems. More specifically:1.1. Validating that any new services or their components have undergone a security assessment and authorization (SA&A) process and that a valid authority to operate (ATO) has been issued prior to the service or component being put into production;1.2. Identifying where changes would result in non-conformance to GoC and SSC security policies;1.3. Ensuring that security risks resulting from changes are appropriately managed by:1.4. Identifying whether proposed changes will impact the ATO status (including any associated security conditions) of affected SSC services or their components; and ensuring that SA&A (Security Assessment and Authorization) activities are conducted if necessary; and,1.5. Reviewing of WIF’s (Workload Intake Form) to ensure data flows and changes from vendor’s such as Fortinet, F5, Cisco, Azure, AWS are compared against SA&A (Security Assessment and Authorization) standards.1.6.
