- Write SQL stored procedures and work with developers to expand and maintain robust applications for a variety of clients, mostly relating to appraisals for property damage. Have written a number of procedures with complex logic involving GPS. - Tune complex queries, review execution plans, and implement optimizations according to best practices - Serve.

• SQL Server optimization, maintenance, installation, and monitoring of critical instances across many leveraged accounts. This includes managing data and log files, creating and verifying backups, creating or scripting.
• Development and enhancement of automation tools for SQL DBAs using T-SQL, PowerShell, and C# (most notably the SQLHealth database/utility internal to NTT which is used by the DBA teams on all customer accounts).
• From 2005-2009, I was in a hybrid SQL/Windows position where I also did system administration (AD, scripting, Kerberos, installations, performance troubleshooting, VMWare, etc.) Even though I functioned as a “full” DBA.
• Was instrumental in recovery efforts from ransomware attacks on 2 large publicly-traded accounts
• Resolved several security issues for customers, including exposing 2 instances of malware via memory forensics and rebuilding/recovery of those platforms

- Functioned as escalation support (last level) for Active Directory, Networking, and 24x7 PLAT teams at Microsoft. - Expected to maintain skill set on a very wide spectrum of different technologies and components - Active Directory, general server administration, networking, kernel crashes, performance, clustering, Kerberos, SMS - a lot more.

Cook onboard USCGC Bramble and USCGC Knight Island. Maintained the ship’s NT4 network on Knight Island and completed the MCSE for Windows NT4 before my discharge.
