Thank you for taking a moment to view my LinkedIn profile. I have worked in the construction industry for over 18 years and thoroughly enjoy the client facing role, helping my clients to realise various aims and objectives. Outside of work I spend my time playing five and seven a side football (if being a goalkeeper counts), cricket for Walsden CC (recently retired!) and golf (when the occasion arises), although I have to say my divot repair kit gets more use than my irons! I’m also an avid film fan. I was raised in a small village called Walsden in the town of Todmorden. A Lancashire/West Yorkshire border town, where no one can quite agree what County the town is in. I've recently moved to Timperley in South Manchester to benefit from a much improved commute. A few of my skills are noted below but my most notable skills/qualifications include:- Husband of Hannah (Chartered Construction Project Manager). As a QS/PM partnership you can imagine how organised and cost efficient our holidays are.- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Invited to join the Institution in December 2011.- Worked in a number of different sectors but primarily in the residential sector and more recently working with private developers delivering new Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) throughout the UK.What others would say about me:"A man who loves a good conversation, it’s hardly surprising that Chris would have Eric Cantona, David (Bumble) Lloyd and Richard Branson around his fantasy dinner table. Like the Virgin boss, Chris loves his flying and hopes to complete his Private Pilot’s Licence one day.
