After earning a quadruple major in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan I've spent my entire professional career since early 2008 working in business analytics for credit cards in a variety of roles and responsibilities. The majority of time has been spent working at the intersection of data science and business analytics either leading teams to develop ML based solutions to shape policy, estimate lifetime value of choices or the usage and application of these types of models. I currently lead the business analytics team that defines the strategy and usage of our lifetime value models that aid in the decisions around granting incremental exposure to credit card account holders. Additionally I also have a secondary (side of desk) role as a model risk officer which supports the governance around creation and usage of models within the company as a 2nd line function.
