I developed ReBoot as a true domestic violence intervention program for men who are identified as likely to end up committing some form of family violence. I also developed a protocol to identify at risk men and families. ReBoot aims to impact family and community violence through a 10 week transformational program.

● Provide strategic leadership to a diverse team of 4 Commanders, 12 Sergeants, 64 Detectives,and 36 staff members while managing community engagements, operational planning, andinvestigative responsibilities to advance the department and City’s vision● Oversee a $35M budget by efficiently allocating resources to plan and executemission-critical initiatives while identifying areas of improvement to drive results● Conduct thorough intel assessments for key stakeholders to foster transparency between lawenforcement and residents while implementing proactive crime prevention strategies● Instrumental in enhancing public safety by managing and guiding multiple results-driventeams including a human trafficking task force, a violent crime task force, a joint terrorismtask force, crime scene investigators, a crime analysis unit, and a dedicated homicide unit

● Demonstrated excellent decision-making skills by leading patrol teams, dispatchers, andcivilian report writers during C19, national unrest, and anti-police protests, resulting in onepatrol team receiving the "Unit of the Year" award for the first time in department history● Supervised a group of four sergeants overseeing all internal investigations, completing over90 comprehensive investigations annually by determining the best solutions and alternatives● Utilized $12M annual budget to direct traffic teams for large venues, protests, and rallieswhile acquiring 9 traffic safety grants to enhance traffic safety and compliance initiatives● Led 6 sergeants, 40 officers SWAT/Tactical Negotiators, 2 dispatch supervisors, 6 tacticaldispatchers, and 10 Anaheim Fire Medics as the Tactical Response Group Commander● Oversaw traffic management, crowd control, and public safety for a significant internationaltourists’ destination attracting 25M+ guests and 350K residents while generating over 200Kservice calls per year through maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and integrity● Served as a strategic OCFJC Commander by managing a $6M budget, personnel, and agencypartners and a victim-centered service center dedicated to providing ongoing support andresources to victims while also serving on the Board of Directors for the foundation

Sat as a chairperson on the Orange County Family Violence Council as the Safety Chair. Responsible for making sure all things related to Orange County Family Violence are current with safety/violence trends and looking at what can be done to impact and improve the overall safety of families in Orange County, CA.

I was selected by BSOCF to create innovative ways to end domestic violence in 20-40 years.

Conducted internal investigations for all major police incidents; in custody deaths, major uses of force and officer involved shootings.

Supervised a community policing team who worked to find long term solutions for crime related quality of life issues.

Team leader (sergeant) for a squad of tactical officers who served high risk warrants and worked to resolve barricaded suspects and barricaded suspects with hostages. Also lead lead teams that worked on high risk dignitary protection details and mobile field force for large scale gatherings and protests.

Mentored, trained and developed patrol officers and responded to and ran high risk and rapidly evolving police calls for service.

Investigated major felony assaults, homicides and officer involved shootings. During my time as a homicide detective I assisted/lead over ~75 death investigations and ~40 officer involved shootings.

Served high risk warrants, and worked to resolve barricaded suspect and barricaded suspects with hostages. During this time I also participated in high risk dignitary protection operations and mobile field force for large gatherings and protests.

Investigated gang crimes ranging from vandalism to homicide, conducted gang intervention work and educated the public on gang customs and cultures. I also worked undercover surveillance operations. I have testified as a gang expert with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Superior Court and Orange County Juvenile Court ~40 times.

Trained new police officer on the foundations of field patrol operations, tactics and report writing.

Worked doing uniformed gang enforcement, conducted gang crime investigations and testified as a gang expert in criminal court proceedings.
