Promoted the activities of McGill’s Schulich School of Music through creation and implementation of communications plans.- Raised Schulich’s profile and grew school YouTube channel through producing, filming, and editing Schulich Short Form Studies, a well-received music tutorial video series—the most successful video is nearing 88,000 views.- Increased awareness of achievements and news from the Schulich community by writing over 20 interview and profile articles of McGill alumni, visiting artists, university professors, and students.- Raised visibility of Schulich events and news by creating original content (written copy, videos, and graphics). Platforms included Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and the Schulich website. - Created digital promotional strategies for International Jazz Day 2018, the inaugural Graham Sommer Competition for Young Composers in 2018, and the launch of the 2018-19 and 2019-20 Schulich concert seasons.- Designed and created copy for e-digests and newsletters, including McGill’s Music Alumni newsletter with the Schulich University Advancement team and other email content for Schulich’s Admissions team.- Developed and implemented simplified sign-up procedure for Schulich’s e-digests, which resulted in significant mailing list growth.- Gathered and analyzed data from social media and email marketing platforms to create an annual summary report that evaluated current strategies and made recommendations for future communications efforts.
