I work with companies and other organisations who have a desire to improve their businesses and society through innovation and business planning. I have a doctorate in geology with a focus on crustal heat flow and geothermal energy. In recent years I have also focused my thinking around system models and exploration techniques for natural or geologic hydrogen.I believe in Treaty, Fairness, Nature Positive and the overarching goals of the UN SDGs. I deeply feel the sense of urgency needed to stop our acceleration towards climate, nature and social catastrophe, and hope to do my part in the short time I have on this planet.Using my extensive experience in the technical and corporate worlds, plus my abilities in business development, start-ups, education, relationship building, marketing and communications, my passion is cutting through and delivering meaningful outcomes, linking innovation in both technical and social domains with meaningful outcomes for our planet and its people.My working life has been broad and immensely rewarding. I have been founding CEO and Chief Geologist of an ASX listed company that explored for, found and then defined Australia's first stored heat geothermal resource. I have worked in industry as a geologist in Australia and Africa. Over the last decade I worked in a University assisting researchers, industry and government to connect on industry-led interdisciplinary research projects, applying for and winning grants, and working to find solutions for societal challenges in minerals, energy and low carbon technologies.
