My position at Albul Engineering touched on a wide variety of both technical and managerial skill sets. I worked with high profile cellular carriers on equipment and structural upgrades, and coordinated site surveys for new buildouts of towers and various appurtenances. My responsibilities included:- Developing and analyzing structural solutions for the upgrade and replacement of telecommunications appurtenances per carrier requirements using RISA 3D and proprietary tools. - Conducting field visits to carrier sites in order to document existing equipment and structures, prepare detailed mechanical drawings, and utilize UAVs to inspect the integrity and condition of support systems.- Coordinating with third party vendors to assess geotechnical conditions of soil and subsurface layers in preparation for the buildout of new monopole, self-supporting, and guyed towers.

As a Technician at Calspan, I'm working with the industry's leading test team and equipment at the largest Tire Research Facility currently available in the field of automotive and aviation tire development and analysis. Working alongside the worlds foremost research engineers is proving invaluable in gaining relevant experience in R&D, Data Analysis, and Engineering Design. At present, my duties involve:-Programming and executing test sequences with the assistance of on site engineering teams, including PLC modifications, equipment calibration and test data analysis.-Troubleshooting issues with the test apparatus, ranging from software failures, to electrical and mechanical breakdown.-Assisting the repair team with maintenance, break/fix, and other hands on operations to ensure optimal testing environments and equipment.

My team from SUNY Buffalo was assigned to FS Elliott for our senior capstone project. Over the course of the next 6 months, we were exposed almost every aspect of the mechanical engineering experience, from design, to manufacturing, to customer and vendor interaction. In this project, I:-Lead team tasked with redesigning the turbo impeller attachment method for a 3rd stage pinion shaft on a P300 series industrial air compressor.-Successfully demonstrated proof of concept to retrofit 3rd stage with a Hirth Coupling.-Delivered full scale working model and developed a sizing program to accommodate all stages of models currently in production, with consideration for future growth.
