Chris McGoff was educated at St Ambrose College, Hale Barns. He went to study at Nottingham Trent University, where he graduated with a degree in Residential Development. While studying for his degree, Chris spent a year in the industry with Beezer Homes on a management training programme. Shortly after graduating in 1996, Chris worked at McCarthy & Stone for a year as Assistant Land Buyer before joining Linden Homes North West where he quickly progressed to the role of Senior Land Manager. Aged 27, in 2001, Chris left Linden Homes to become Managing Director and co-founder of Villafont Limited.Chris identified a niche market for delivering truly bespoke luxury homes within desirable South Manchester locations. By deploying his specialist multiple ownership land assembly skills, successfully navigating the prevailing restrictive planning policies and consistently delivering award winning developments.Villafont Homes have firmly positioned themselves as one of the leading privately owned residential developers in the North West. Over recent years it has forged a reputation for high quality bespoke homes in desirable locations. In 2007 Chris joined the board of directors at McGoff & Byrne.New Care LLP was successfully launched in July 2009. As Managing Partner, Chris is responsible for strategic planning, implementation of policy, business management, strategic land search, project consultant liaison and business development.The Manorhey Care Centre is the first of 3 planned homes Trafford and is quickly becoming one of the fastest filling purpose built care homes ever built in Trafford.The home is striving to become a centre of health care excellence and provides 63 rooms all with ensuite rooms, set within the heart of the Urmston community on the site of the former Manor Hey hotel.The second care centre, Allingham House, situated on Deansgate Lane, Timperley is currently under construction and is due to complete in September 2012.
