As an active member of San Francisco’s music scene since 1992, I've built a wide vocabulary playing drums in too many jazz, funk, rock, punk, metal, folk, ska, and samba bands to list. I’ve toured internationally with my own bands and as a hired gun. I have also recorded or performed with such luminaries as John Vanderslice, Jane Wiedlin, Robert Randolph, Ralph Carney, Donald Bailey, Eric McFadden, Ronkat Spearman, and Skunk Baxter. I am available as a drummer, an engineer, a producer, or all three. Currently I’m part owner of the historic Hyde Street Studio C, and am working with numerous artists producing music. I’m an expert at delivering amazing drum sounds, and our with selection of drum kits and mics, we get the most out of this incredible sounding room designed by Bill Putnam (Universal Audio founder).At First Generation Productions I had the opportunity to bring high level production audio to numerous film and television projects. I've been the lead audio post production engineer for dozens of commercials for such clients as LinkedIn, Samsung, Nest and Facebook. I have engineered voice-over recordings for Discovery Channel, National Geo Wild, and ISDN sessions for live broadcast on the BBC. I was the sound designer and sound mixer on two narrative films, a feature called Brujo and an award-winning short film titled Love Hurts, for which I also produced and mixed the musical score.
