Employment Advisor
Current• Pitching and selling Reed in Partnership as the partner of choice in Welfare to Work.• Developed own knowledge of Reed in Partnership and the relevant programme in order to enlist my Participants,• Building and maintaining relationships with the Job Centre Plus and other relevant Partners through regular telephone contact, visits and newsletters as appropriate to ensure Participants are aware of our services and to allay any concerns they may have with accessing or utilising our services,• Conducting business development by telephone calls/ emails to network/liaise with employers and recruitment agencies to find sustainable job opportunities for my participants,• Motivates, encourages, and empowers Participants, identifying barriers, realistic job goals and social training needs, referring as appropriate to internal employability skills, mind set and employer/sector focused training courses, Health & Wellbeing advisory services and training courses or external courses,• Booking Participants to any relevant training courses including customer service, security, hospitality, personal development, IT literacy and many others• Supporting Participants with CV writing, job application process, interview preparation, and in work support,• Able to demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills as Business Manager has trusted myself with additional management duties,• Experience of working in a customer facing environment,• Experience of working in a performance target driven environment.
