CurrentAs a dedicated advocate for recovery, I collaborate with partners to help individuals build recovery capital, assist organizations in becoming recovery-ready, and educate communities to end the stigma that keeps folks from seeking help. I create environments where individuals in recovery can thrive.Working with individuals and communities, I develop and manage recovery residence programs, focusing on rural counties and under-resourced populations. I strive to implement tailored solutions that address local needs and promote equitable access to recovery support services. My comprehensive strategy includes:1. Building Recovery Capital: Enhancing personal, social, and community resources essential for recovery. This involves facilitating access to housing, employment, educational programs, and peer support networks to empower individuals in rebuilding their lives.2. Empowering Organizations: Providing training, resources, and best practices to support individuals in recovery. Developing recovery-oriented policies, creating inclusive environments, and fostering a culture of understanding within organizations.3. Educating Communities: Reducing stigma through awareness campaigns, community workshops, and educational programs. By shifting perceptions, we foster a more compassionate approach to addiction and recovery, enabling individuals to seek help without fear of judgment.4. Program Development: Overseeing the development and management of recovery residence programs. This involves coordinating with stakeholders, securing funding, and implementing evidence-based practices to create safe, supportive recovery environments.5. Advocacy and Engagement: I work with policy makers to promote recovery initiatives. Participating in advisory boards, and contributing to legislative efforts aimed at improving access to quality recovery I meet individuals and communities where they are. My mission is to build a world where everyone has the opportunity to recover.
