- Owned and maintained an Openshift Kubernetes install that contained of a production and qa cluster running in AWS (ROSA)- Configured an ETL tool called MageAI to run pipelines for data processing tasks- Migrated business critical mysql servers from EC2 instances to RDS instances for better backups and better insight into queries, this also improved the speed of an overnight data delivery task by roughly three hours- Mentored a junior on how to get a new application up and running on the cluster with Kustomize - Mapped out an existing business process using event storming and domain driven design principles, so that the process could be enhanced by a new microservice project- Installed and configured Kyverno on the Openshift cluster to help manage secret rotation

- Contributed significantly to the migration of multiple on-premises business-critical systems to an AWS-hosted OpenShift solution by taking responsibility for the thorough implementation of all necessary Kubernetes resources, ensuring the successful launch and operation of the new infrastructure- Spearheaded the adoption of Gitlab pipelines and ArgoCD to build resilient automated deployments for all applications, reducing the need for manual intervention, and making code deployments more robust- Created an EKS management and staging cluster, using AWS blueprints with Terraform, to start migrating applications over from an OpenShift cluster- Enhanced application Mean Time to X (MTTX) metrics by deploying ELK stack monitoring and establishing proactive notifications for critical dependencies.- Managed a DNS migration to Cloudflare with Terraform to help mitigate bot traffic from creating unimportant link tracking data in the application, and simplifying future DNS configuration changes- Dedicated effort to learning Kubernetes, so that I could host and manage multiple applications in an OpenShift environment- Mentored multiple other engineers through how our install of Kubernetes works, and how CI/CD runs for an application on Kubernetes
