I am a speechwriter with a law degree and a background in federal policy, leading speechwriting for a prominent C-Suite level executive and their executive leadership team. Together we've secured multiple historic wins for Maryland, focusing on equity, healthcare, technology, and economic development. I work every day to increase resources available to a majority-minority community and to promote an inclusive vision for shared prosperity. For example, I developed communications materials that supported a first-in-the-nation school construction program, recognized as the "Infrastructure Project of the Year" in 2021 by the International P3 Awards. More recently, I helped prepare senior executives to advocate before the GSA for a once-in-a-generation investment. After many years of advocacy, the GSA awarded this transformative project to our jurisdiction. These examples fit squarely into our track record of securing policy wins at the local, state, and federal level. Another major focus of my role is thought leadership messaging. Most notably, I prepare keynotes and remarks that outline our vision for transit-oriented development and smart growth. Over the past several years we have received billions in new public and private investment, preserved thousands of affordable homes, and attracted next-generation technology businesses creating solid state batteries and researching quantum computing. Taken together, my work has helped raise the national profile of an inspiring political figure. I've prepared a broad spectrum of communications projects, including scripts, remarks, and talking points for national media appearances. I've also written multiple keynote addresses, including the University of Maryland Law School Commencement Address.
