Chris Meyer is an advocate for quality physical education presenting at local, regional, and national conferences, mentoring student teachers, and serving on SHAPE Idaho’s executive board. Chris has actively implemented a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program. Chris Meyer’s career in Physical Education spans 36 years of teaching K-12 physical education. Most recently serving as a high school Department Chair, Chris led her PE department to secure $200,000 of grant funding for implementing heart rate technology, innovative fitness education learning platforms, and fitness equipment. Chris Meyer has been recognized as the Lewis-Clark State College Outstanding Teacher Educator of the Year, mentoring many young educators, and was recently named SHAPE Idaho’s High School Teacher of the Year.Create a vision for your PE Program!
