Chris is a skilled investment professional with a background in venture capital, private equity, commercial real estate, energy, and hedge fund sectors. In addition, Chris has successfully raised over $500 million in funding across various private equity, hedge fund, and venture investments.Chris founded an investment and board advisory company called Map n Scale LLC, where he invests in and/or sits on boards in the technology and real estate sectors. Map n Scale has supported over 200 companies across the United States, APAC, Europe, Canada, and LATAM, driving substantial revenue growth, international expansion, operational efficiencies, and raising capital. With our support, Map n Scale’s portfolio companies have collectively raised over $1 billion in venture capital, growth equity, and debt capital to fuel their continued success and expansion. Additionally, Chris currently serves as the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), fostering international trade and investment opportunities. Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion, Chris also runs an incubator for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs as part of StartOut called the Growth Lab.Prior to Map n Scale, Chris ran a venture capital fund called THC Ventures for four years, focusing on Post-Seed and Series A rounds.
