JHI-CDHI Postdoctoral Fellow with the Jackman Humanities Institute at the University of Toronto. My research explores changing understandings of death and dying. I study this through a range of contexts, including obituaries, Death Cafés, End of Life Care, and most recently, green burial. I have experience with a range of qualitative methods, including discourse and content analysis, conducting interviews and focus groups, and interpreting survey data. Beyond my current projects on nonreligion and death, my broader research interests include New Religious Movements, media and popular culture, and digital humanities research methods.
