All parts are now fully sequenced, the amount of trailers used are reduced, and we have minimized the amount of parts carried on-hand at the factory. This had led to a reduction of carrying over $210k on-hand at the factory. - Ensure the right material is at the right place at the right time for two departments in Final Assembly (for over 1,100 different manufactured and purchased part numbers). - Coordinate the movement of trailers to and from 17 bay doors. - Monitor and resolve open material delivery issues within SAP by utilizing various SAP transactions on a daily basis. - Insure that system parameters are aligned and consistent throughout the entire replenishment process. - Identify part shortages in assigned departments and initiates action to resolve, with both manufactured and purchased parts. Work with several functional areas including engineering, supply management, production control, inventory accuracy, operations and material delivery on shortages, inventory inaccuracies, and engineering changes. - Execute the engineering changes and use ECM checklists to verify part set up is completed and ready on due dates. - Request and participate in inventory accuracy issues. Direct & support wage employees to count and verify inventory levels. - Coordinate activities with Schedulers on COGI for manufactured & purchased parts. Track supporting metrics on execution of the material delivery process. - Track and resolve open Transfer Requests, late deliveries from suppliers, number of units that go into repair due to supply management, and inventory accuracy in department. - Participate in process mapping activities and take on projects to support improvements to the material delivery process.- Directly support Deere SAP implementation. - Follow documentation and suggest changes when needed to improve operations.
