- Revamped the process of receiving Choppers/Tailboards/Spreaders to the factory. All parts are now fully sequenced, the amount of trailers used are reduced, and we have minimized the amount of parts carried on-hand at the factory. This had led to a reduction of carrying over $210k on-hand at the factory. - Ensure the right material is at the right place at the right time for two departments in Final Assembly (for over 1,100 different manufactured and purchased part numbers). - Coordinate the movement of trailers to and from 17 bay doors. - Monitor and resolve open material delivery issues within SAP by utilizing various SAP transactions on a daily basis. - Insure that system parameters are aligned and consistent throughout the entire replenishment process. - Identify part shortages in assigned departments and initiates action to resolve, with both manufactured and purchased parts. Work with several functional areas including engineering, supply management, production control, inventory accuracy, operations and material delivery on shortages, inventory inaccuracies, and engineering changes. - Execute the engineering changes and use ECM checklists to verify part set up is completed and ready on due dates. - Request and participate in inventory accuracy issues. Direct & support wage employees to count and verify inventory levels. - Coordinate activities with Schedulers on COGI for manufactured & purchased parts. Track supporting metrics on execution of the material delivery process. - Track and resolve open Transfer Requests, late deliveries from suppliers, number of units that go into repair due to supply management, and inventory accuracy in department. - Participate in process mapping activities and take on projects to support improvements to the material delivery process.- Directly support Deere SAP implementation. - Follow documentation and suggest changes when needed to improve operations.

➢ Created a strategic sourcing workbook for the commodity of Metal Fabrication. - Analyzed part data and blueprints for over 1.5k parts & strategically requested 1k+ quotes resulting in $400k in potential savings. Utilized TCS (Total Cost Solutions) for the quote process. - Projected, out to 2017, which suppliers should receive the factory’s business over time. ➢ Created a guide and decision tree for ESO (External Shipping Order) transactions.

➢ Created, standardized & optimized a process for measuring supplier readiness. - Wrote over 2k lines of code in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) within Microsoft Excel which automated & standardized this process. - Reduced the amount of time needed to update the supplier readiness metric, down from 8 hours to 30 seconds. - Proposed a standardized & automated process, which was adopted, and ensured its integration into pre-existing systems.

➢ Managed/analyzed various transactions in the supply system GCSS-MC in support of the entire MPF (Maritime Pre-Placement Force) program. - Quickly identified & corrected deficiencies within the multiple integrated supply systems. - Reduced our response time to requisitions, down from 1.5 hours to 15 minutes. - Managed all (150k) on-board assets via the Supply System “MDSSII” and the WMS “iCodes”. - Successfully pre-staged, located & applied visual indicators for all assets that were forecasted to be used in Operation “Freedom Banner 2013”.

➢ Analyzed, standardized & optimized the undefined process of inspecting and replacing all slings/riggings used at major John Deere factories. - Utilized various capabilities within SAP (System Analysis & Program Development) and other John Deere internal data systems. - While analyzing SAP and it’s capabilities, discovered & recommended a tracking method that tracked 100% of slings/riggings being repaired, replaced, or scrapped. These items were not previously tracked and this new tracking method was adopted. - Proposed a template that could be rolled out to multiple factories showing the “best practices” found at various factories.
