I currently oversee the development and evaluation of new chemical products and processes to protect and maintain architectural surfaces. My experience ranges from hard surface cleaning chemistry to reactive silicone technology and traditional coatings.My primary responsibilities are formulating new and reformulating existing products to accommodate regulatory, financial and business climate changes, designing testing protocols and coordinating in-house and outside testing related to research & development and project testing projects. Together, with research & development laboratory technicians and other lab team members, we coordinate and manage inside and outside laboratory testing, as well as field-testing of developmental products to accomplish the goals of product development. In addition I am also responsible for providing technical support to customer care and inside and outside sales personnel by preparing relevant presentations, project reports, and letters. As needed, I also assist production and quality control personnel as required for product scale-up, production trouble-shooting, and batch adjustments.
