As Head of the Regional Applications team, I direct a team of IT professionals (PM's, BA's, developers) that implement solutions several functional areas including, finance, commodity trading, procurement, human resources, and manufacturing. Additional responsibilities include: Developing IT vision (along with executive management) for North American region.Assessing technological and procedural gaps across all North American offices and propose functional and technological solutions. Maintaining project demand list ensuring alignment with long-term corporate objectives and vision. Analyzing vendor offerings to determine optimal solution to implement. Act as primary contact and negotiator with existing or potential software vendors. This includes creation of RFP's and full legal review of vendor proposals.Integrating new acquisitions into corporate structure including software, processes, and employees.
