I'm an experienced radio broadcaster, producer, journalist and station manager. I am now in my 19th year of presenting a breakfast show, during which time I have conducted thousands of interviews and made many audio and video packages, I manage a team of staff and volunteers at a radio station. I train people in media skills and have led accredited training programmes in radio broadcasting. I'm a 'power user' of digital audio playout and editing systems, instructing people how to use them and trouble-shooting issues. I'm a social media manager who oversees the publishing of online content.I have worked at Cross Rhythms radio in Stoke-on-Trent for 18 years, currently in the role of Programme Controller. I have gained a wide variety of experience in broadcasting, media production and team management. I have skills in audio engineering, studio design, transmission, online media streaming, network management and Ofcom Broadcasting Code compliance.I create radio station audio imaging as well as commercials and promos. I write and present news bulletins, I have assisted others in setting up community radio stations in the UK and online stations.I'm an advanced user of Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro and RCS Zetta playout.
