Throughout this role I was entrusted in managing my store through day-to-day activities. I held periodic meetings to update area managers on the stores performance and was often ranked within the top 3 in the district. I created a team of hard working individuals in my store and with this came up with innovative ideas to increase footfall in my shop that have now spread throughout the business.

The Senior Mentor is responsible for leading, inspiring and developing a team of twelve young people aged between 15-18 on a three week journey of adventures and social services. In this role I sought after a group of young people and helped them overcome fears, improved their confidence and amplified their voices to the public. I also earned individual accolades for my achievements as a mentor on one of my phases.

My first job. I started as a part time cashier as i studied at sixth form, before there was an opening in the stockroom where I learnt to organise stock, take in deliveries and how to prepare for audits. During the summer I took on a more important role and began to request stock for delivery as I became more aware of what the store needed, I joined the managers in meetings on how to increase sales and what shoes and trainers to promote as well as leading the shop marketing plan before the busy 'Back to School' period. I was then offered the job as new Stockroom manager as the previous manager had moved on, I continued this role until I left for University, where I got a transfer and stayed part time.
