Implemented Nagios (XI and Core), Solarwinds, Exoprise, Ecostruxure, IGEL, and Splunk monitoring systems across multiple internal networks and OS’s, while forwarding alerts to PagerDuty implementation and integrating with ServiceNow. Surveying 1500+ servers, 1200+ network nodes and 500+ UPS units, 100+ HVAC systems, and multiple environmental monitoring units. Built Puppet and Ansible based automated installation of Nagios servers, as well as monitoring agents such as NSclient++ and NRPE. Implemented automated alerting and escalation procedures to meet SLA requirements. Developed dashboard views for both High Level and Detailed Technical views covering multiple aspects of the UTA infrastructure including current health of systems, connectivity of network equipment, status of HVAC and water systems, security analytics utilizing TrendMicro and Splunk Enterprise Security, and status and health of UPS units in all environment levels. Implemented IGEL endpoint management for NOC/SOC environment and the Office of the CIO for dashboard and status displays.

Created custom firewall configuration on secondary subnet of internal networks for data storage and backup. Configured Kerberos server authentication for user security. Reconfigured web-based mail routing for publicly hosted band booking sites. Consulted on Nagios XI user interface methodologies and next-step processes.
