My main duties are the day to day running of the warehouse, working closely with the dispatch & goods in supervisors to look at making continuous improvements within each department, working with the customer service teams, purchasing and the product managers to look at maintaining and improving the services provided for each department.One of main drives since taking this role is to get a closer relationship between the warehouse management team and the sales team based in Banbury this has been achieved by travelling down for a day and listening into calls and discussing problems between the teams to look at continually improving the relationship and service.Over the past 4 years I have driven year on year improvements to the over warehouse KPI’s making great gains in same day/next day dispatch, OTIF and productivity this has been achieved through improving processes and introducing automation into the warehouse as well as strengthening the relationship between the warehouse, purchasing and production teams to ensure we are all pulling in the same direction

Day to Day man management of the Goods in team, stock management and strategic stock placement.While in this role I worked as the lead on bringing in a WM system to the warehouse, in this project I had to learn the new system while also preparing all 28,000 locations and 18,000 lines of stock in the warehouse to enable them to work with the system, this project began in 2015 and was completed around 10 months later ahead of schedule and under budget, in my time working on this project I have become a ‘super user’ for the Icon based WM system with extensive knowledge of all the transactions and their use aswell as attaining greater knowledge in SAP to become one of the most experienced users on the site.

Day to Day man management of the despatch team and liasing wih sales to ensure all orders where picked and packed daily while looking into and resolving any issues.While changes were made throughout the company the team leader role became more supervisory and I was also tasked with multiple projects in the warehouse to try and improve efficiency, one of these projects I was tasked with was the redesign of the goods in department and I also made changes to their process which saw a massive KPI improvement from 15 lines per hour to 18 lines per hour aswell as reducing errors to below 0.2%.I was then tasked with a redesign of the warehouse in a further bid to improve efficiency in this project we moved a lot of racking and stock around the warehouse to change the pick and putaway paths, this involved the relocation of around 14,000 lines, this project made such an improvement to the warehouse that KPI’s again saw a huge increase in all departments.My final project as the dispatch team leader was to redesign the dispatch department to make it ready for a proposed new WMS system and shipping system this project went well and achieved its goals but the WM system never came in and left some issues with readapting for the continued use of the paper based system.

While working at Woolworths my duties where to check and accept deliveries, restock shelves and when busy work on the tills serving the customers, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Woolworths and was sad to have to leave due to the unfortunate circumstances the company found itself in.

I started at LBM as a level 1 sales agent with my main duties to ring businesses as part of a data gathering campaign, shortly after starting I was selected to move to a new trial campaign the company was running in a bid to gain new business after the trails success I was moved into a new role as a level 2 sales agent selling business vehicle insurance

My main duties at Ryvita were running the line we worked in teams of 5 and rotated between the different machines on the line, during my first year I quickly gained knowledge of the machines on the line and I was able to fix and maintain some minor issues to keep the line going without engineer callouts.Due to this knowledge and my drive I was handed a promotion to Shift team leader, under this role I had extra responsibilities for organizing the shift and carrying out essential checks on the product to ensure they met all legal and company guidelines in regards to ingredients and foreign objects that may contaminate the food.
