Responsible for all range facilities, supporting government contracts, range personnel, and impact areas.

Execute and supervise all rifle and pistol training at Hathcock Range. Coordinate administrative and logistical requirements for DoD personnel to execute training. Ensure all range staff are trained and qualified to conduct range operations, train DoD personnel for deployment or duty requirements and facilitate lethality across the force. Serve as a subject matter expert on marksmanship to third party, multinational, private contractors on upgrading and maintaining the hardware/software utilized to evaluate rifle training.

Close Quarters Battle Course, Marine Corps Security Forces

Mission. To train and qualify Marines in the military occupation specialty of 8154 (Close Quarters Battle Team Member) for service with Marine Corps Security Force Battalions, Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team (FAST) Companies and Marine Barracks, Washington D.C., and conduct other courses or training as directed by the Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Security Force Regiment (MCSFRegt). Maintain, develop, and implement POIs for Close Quarter Battle Team Member and Advanced Urban Combat/Vessel Board Search and Seizure curriculums.Accomplishments:-Honor Graduate CQB 1-18 -Achieved Senior Instructor/Instructor Trainer by obtaining a 90% or higher on assesments for delivery of information across all platforms, shooting a combined Rifle/Pistol CQB Qual Course of Fire with 900/1000 or higher, and having the requisite amount of platform hours-Upon achieving IT; became the Advanced Clearing Lead and developed the period of instruction on Team Tactics (and subsequent shooting packages) in order to fulfill the Nuclear Site Security need for the ability to recapture the facilities with small teams of shooters against a range of dynamic threats. Immediately validated the course structure by organizing and attending a 2 week coalignment of Close Quarters Tactics with the Lexicon CQT staff aboard Camp Pendleton.-Lead the initial iteration of Phase Zero training for future shooters in CQB, Phase Zero is a 2 week CQB precourse developed to determine shooters skill sets, identify pitfalls, and finally make a recommendation for/against attendance. The implementation of which has reduced the drop rate of CQB 15% for FY18.
