The Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, Australia’s leading school of psychology is the second largest school in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences in terms of revenue. Close to 4,000 individual students are enrolled in at least one subject; 62% at the undergraduate level and 38% at the graduate level.My responsibilities included developing, maintaining and reviewing existing workplace systems and workflows to improve resource utilisation and realise efficiency gains within the guidelines of University policy, precedent, and professional standards. I also spearheaded the initiative for integrating software as a service (SaaS) applications such as Formstack and WebMerge to provide innovative solutions to administrative challenges. I was assigned to the School's External Relations Committee where I implemented a strategy to significantly increase the School's online presence and social media reach. My specific responsibilities included content administrator of the School website, editor for the monthly newsletter with over 6,000 subscribers, and curator of the social media content. In this capacity I also planned and delivered many public events including public lectures, information evenings, book launches, Miegunyah Fellows lectures and the bi-annual Psychology Great Debate.

The Australian Institute of Music is a higher education provider offering diploma, bachelor and masters level degree programs relevant to the Australian music, entertainment, and performing arts industries. In this role I was responsible for coordinating a team of four staff members in the delivery of daily operational services, including: managing room and resource bookings, overseeing course enrolment and unit registrations, administering examinations, assignment collection, responding to potential student course enquiries, and maintaining accurate records in the centralised student management system.I also served as a second tier escalation point to resolve student issues and complaints relating to enrolment, timetabling, course progression, unit selection, special consideration and assessment extensions. My additional duties included providing staff training in general administrative functions, and in the use of the timetabling and student management systems and delivering policy and procedural advice on behalf of the Registrar to academic staff, prospective and current students on matters relating to student admission. I also provided expertise in the management of campus events including information events, open days, and campus tours.
